None to Run: Wk 1 Day 3 + Where's the pain?

Week 1, Day 3 and Week 1 of None to Run is officially done! It's a record!

(I've ran and walked almost 3 miles this week)

Between three runs and two strength training sessions (so five straight days of working out one way or another) — this is the most consistent I've ever been when it comes to moving.

I'm feeling good. Accomplished.

It's not much, but I'm feeling good. I'm proud of myself. Not proud just because, but because I'm accomplishing something. And I'm doing it for me.

And the best part? I'm not in pain. I'm not hurt.

Sure there's soreness, but my body is not protesting. My body is happy. It's getting challenged, but in a pace that's healthy.

Taking it slow and steady, being patient, is helping me lots.

I'm glad I found None to Run. I truly am.

Tomorrow is rest day. No exercise whatsoever.

Then on Saturday I start week 2 of None to Run. Which has me worried to be honest coz the program now goes from 30-second runs to 1-minute runs. The 1-minute runs from Couch to 5K is what got me hurt before, so now I'm wary.

But we'll see. I'll listen to my body. If the 1-minute runs are too much for me, I'll restart "week 1" and keep on doing the 30-second runs until my body is ready.

Slow and steady. Slow and steady.
