My First Run | None to Run: Wk 1 Day 1
Today's my first run! See how it went!
The program I'm using: None to Run
OK so my first run is done and I didn't die!
I'm proud of me for just even trying. The fact that I finished is another feat. This is the positive self-talk I need. Shamelessly patting myself on the back 😂
I've tried Couch to 5K before, and it was not fun at all.
I was exhausted to the ground. I hurt my feet and legs. I was miserable.
Sure, running isn't easy and sometimes it hurts, but it's not supposed to be a form of cruel torture, right?
This is why I opted for None to Run this time around. And I'm glad I did.
Even then, I thought I'd be a big mess. But I wasn't.
I was smiling throughout. There was some effort on the second half (yup I',m that out of shape), but nothing hurt. It wasn't easy, but it was so doable.
So I'm looking forward to my next run on Wednesday. (I wonder if I'd be hurting tomorrow? We'll see.)
