My poor ankles + Discovery
Keeping them ankles nice and injury-free.

In my Training Plan, I mentioned that I'm spending the first few days (before running) doing some ankle strengthening exercises.
It's because my ankles have been hurting here and there for a few months now. And even a noob like me knows that injuries are bad news, so I had to be super careful.
So I would take off my sandals to do the ankle exercises—and that's when I noticed that my feet felt better without the sandals.
Not just "aaaah au naturel" better, but "thank God I'm out of that prison" better.
Then a theory formed in my head: My trusty, beloved, dreamy Birkenstocks must be the reason. So the sandals came off, replaced by Crocs.
I walked around all day, climbed the gazillion steps in my home, and everything in between. And guess what?
The ankle pain is gone. Things are looking good.
